I believe that the world is brighter when we pursue work aligned with our values, purpose, joys, and strengths.
As a career coach, my approach is to foster positive change for my clients through increased momentum and accountability towards their goals.
I bring warmth and empathy, a sense of humor, active listening skills, and career development expertise to work that I find joyful. My clients report higher rates of success and happiness when they engage me as their coach.
In 2009, I initially started my coaching practice to offer support to non-profit professionals like myself facing issues of burnout, uncertainty about their career goals, and discomfort asking for what they want. Since then, I have expanded my focus to serve clients in diverse industries and sectors, with an underlying theme of navigating a career journey.
In addition to my private practice, I work as a Career Advisor and Adjunct Instructor at American University, where I support students and alumni in their career development.
I am a Certified Personal and Executive Coach from The Coaching and Positive Psychology (CaPP) Institute. I am the proud recipient of WIN’s (Women’s Information Network) Young Women of Achievement Award as an Innovator/Social Entrepreneur.
In my free time, I love to:
- Stroll through my lovely and historic Hyattsville, MD neighborhood
- Practice yoga (for 20+ years!)
- Play and hang out with my two cats
- Visit art museums, botanical gardens, and cafes
- Travel with my husband – our favorite getaways are Richmond, VA (my hometown), NYC, and Austin, TX
